Understanding world religions is an important piece in working with others peacefully and effectively to support and encourage global health. Harvard senior lecturer Diane Moore will be teaching a MOOC series of courses through HarvardX, “World Religions Through Their Scripture.” The series, which launches this spring and is absolutely free to audit ($300 or $50 for each of the 6 courses in the series if you want a certificate), will bring together Harvard’s leading scholars in the world’s major religions: Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Hinduism, and Islam. To learn more or sign up for the course, visit Harvard edX. Or read a news story about the course.

For those in the neighborhood, there will be a panel discussion with the instructors on March 1 at 5:30 p.m. in Andover Hall. The event is free and open to the public. For more information.
