Can science and religion work together to improve global health…

…or not? Here’s one opinion essay to provoke thought and conversation, taken from the Deseret News, Utah’s oldest continuously published daily paper. The story reports on a recent conference, “Perceptions: Science and Religious Communities,” held March 13, 2015 in Washington and hosted by the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS) “Dialogue on Science, Ethics and Religion” program.  The Perceptions Project is a joint project of AAAS and Rice University, and is “primarily funded by a grant from the John Templeton Foundation, with support from AAAS.”
