Funding for global health

A new report on development assistance for health, co-sponsored by Chatham House (London) and the Harvard Global Health Institute, and written by Drs. Suerie Moon and Oluwatosin Omole, reviews and critiques the current fiscal systems and offers proposals for change. It’s a bit thick going for those of us who don’t wear economics or public policy hats, but well worth at least a glimpse by anyone who cares how money is used to make a difference in global health. Omole, Development Assistance for Health: Critiques and Proposals for Change, Centre on Global Health Security Working Group on Financing, Paper 1 (London and Cambridge [MA]: Chatham House and Harvard Global Health Institute, April 2013).
